Places I've Been

July 02, 2019

Here is a list of the cities and countries I’ve been to. The purpose here isn’t to brag or anything like that, this is literally just for me to keep track of everywhere I’ve been. I’m not including countries I have no memory of because I visited as a young child (eg. apparently I’ve been to Gabon).

Most of these countries were visited over the last year and a half when I left NYC to travel the world.

I’m not on a mission to visit every country for the sole purpose of knocking off some checklist. I think it’s way more meaningful to spend a good amount of time in a single country and really get to know the people, culture, language, etc vs. flying to a capital city for a couple days, checking off landmarks, treating the trip like a visit to your local amusement park, and leaving without any real understanding of the culture.

I love travel as it can broaden one’s horizons and change one’s perspective.

But I don’t mean to instill FOMO. One of the downsides of travel is that you can only visit a place for the first time once. So be curious and go out there and see the world, but if you’re going to visit somewhere - make it count!

That’s the full list as of now. I’ll keep updating it when I get the time.
