Completing things is addicting

September 27, 2018

I wasn’t planning to write so much today. I would just force myself to start writing one article, and then seeing the unfinished article would make me want to finish it, and then I’d get an idea for another article that I’d want to write. This process continued itself until I realized that I’d finished 6 articles (now 7).

This is a textbook example of a positive feedback loop.

A good process will create positive feedback loops in your life, which in turn reinforce the process and automate you towards your goals.
